Amazing Hair Colors to Kick Off the Spring Season

As we look ahead to spring, warm weather, and outdoor fun, chances are you’re wanting something new to help you stand out this season. Perhaps you should consider a new hair color to kick off the spring season. Cherry Mocha. If you’re a natural brunette but want to spice it up with some red tones, we’re seeing a lot of interest in this blend of a deep brunette with rich red and dazzling copper hues. Personalize the look to fit your personality by opting for face-framing highlights, babylights, or even a blend of reddish copper for a stand-out money piece.

Ash-Blonde Balayage. Ready to brighten up that winter hue? If you’re not quite ready to go all-out summer platinum yet, start with a light brown or natural blonde base and jazz it up with a silvery ash-blonde balayage. Not only will it add depth and dimension to your hair, but the ashy highlights will reflect in the sum, giving off a cool, shimmery vibe all season long.

Face-Framing Highlights. The best way to bring attention to your features and add a touch of fun to your hair this season is with some face-framing highlights. We’re seeing a variety of combinations from a dark base to bright highlights around the face to a neutral base with a fantasy highlight, or even a light base with a much darker face-framing highlight to really accentuate those features. Chocolate Caramel Balayage. There’s a misconception that brunette is boring; not true! If you have a natural brunette base, richen up your base with a chocolate hue then bring it to life with the hand-painted magic of balayage in swirls of toffee and caramel highlights. This is a beautiful style for both long or short hair and complements almost any skin tone.

Honey-Butter Blonde. Here’s another gorgeous option for those blondes that want the perfect blend of warmth and dimension this spring. If your base is dark blonde or even light brown, ask your Rizzieri stylist about working in shades of buttery blonde, honey blonde, and pale gold to give a wonderful, edgy look that will reflect perfectly in the sunlight.

Copper Glam. This color has been topping the charts and it’s still going strong into 2022. This bold, red-brown hue looks amazing as an overall color, or as highlights to bring out the golden tones in your hair with just the right amount of hints of red. We love this with curly hair as the strands of the curls tend to really bring out the vibrancy of this color.

Pumpkin Spice Blonde. Just when we thought we were out of that whole ‘pumpkin spice’ craze, along comes an amazing color at the start of 2022 that is reminiscent of that whole fad. This awesome blend of blonde with red highlights of copper, rose-gold, and strawberry blonde gives new meaning to awestruck. These vibrant highlights will give you a multi-dimensional shine and will definitely turn heads this season.

Icy Blonde. If you’re not quite ready for platinum yet, ask your Rizzieri stylist about icy blonde highlights. Start with a dark base and ombre down to icy blonde tips, opt for a balayage from dark to light all the way through your head, or choose some icy blonde face-framing highlights. No matter how you choose to show them off, the results will be stunning.

Cotton Candy Swirl. As always, bold, vibrant colors play a big part in trendy hair colors. We’re seeing many of our clients taking a bold stance to celebrate spring with a swirl of highlights – baby blue, light pink, lavender, even grass green – swirl them all together to make a fun, outspoken statement that will look amazing as delicate highlights or as all-over color.
